The annual Diocesan Youth Gathering (DYG) — November 6–7 at Grace & Trinity Cathedral, Kansas City. A weekend for grades 5–12 to dig deeper into faith, community, and creativity through breakout sessions, prayer through art, music, meditation, games, and community service. Cost: $25. November title: This Other Eden by Paul Harding — a novel inspired by the true story of Malaga Island, one of the first racially integrated towns in the Northeast, and the struggle to preserve human dignity.
